Pot Limit Omaha Takes Center Stage in October

Super High Roller Bowl PLO, the $100k high roller tournament that was previously scheduled to run at the end of October, has now been moved up to October 16. The three-day tournament is set to bring together all the best PLO players from around the world and become the biggest event for the lovers of the Great Game of Pot Limit Omaha this year.

The PLO Super High Roller Bowl edition will be an exciting time for all the high rollers and also for fans of PLO, as PokerGO plans to livestream the final two days of the tournament on the platform.

Immediately following the SHRB PLO, the PokerGO Tour will run the PGT PLO Series, which will include a total of 10 tournaments and include variants like PLO Bounty, PLO Progressive Bounty, 5-Card PLO, PLO Hi-Lo, and PLO Dealer’s Choice.

The first edition of the PGT PLO Series attracted more than 1,000 entries in total and spread more than $10,000,000 in prize money around, with even higher numbers expected for the 2023 edition.

PGT Last Chance to Award a “Dream Seat”

The PGT Last Chance is a new mini-series added to the PGT schedule for Season 3, and it will act as the final opportunity for players to qualify for the PGT Championship and save their year with a big win.

PGT will be throwing the Last Chance events immediately after New Year’s, as the mini-series is now scheduled to run from January 2 to 7.

PokerGO has not yet announced the exact details of the events that will run as part of the series, but it is clear that there will be six events in total, one running each day of the festival.

While all Last Chance events will count towards the overall PGT Leaderboard, the series will also run a unique mini-leaderboard, the winner of which will directly qualify for the PGT Championship.

This gives an extra reason for all the players who have not already secured a seat in the PGT Championship to come out and play the PGT Last Chance and try to win their seat in the season’s final tournament.

PGT Championship Moved to January 9

Season 3 of the PokerGO Tour ends with the PGT Championship event, the final Million Dollar Freeroll for the top 40 finishers on the PGT Leaderboard.

This season’s PGT Championship is scheduled to start on January 9, bringing together the most successful players of the whole season.

The $1,000,000 prize pool will be distributed among the final table finishers, with a grand prize of $500,000 reserved for the eventual champion.

The Championship event will run for two days at the PokerGO Studio and will be brought to all PokerGO subscribers via a live stream on the platform.
