Blueprint Gaming and BetMGM have launched the Game of Thrones online slot in the United States, making the title available through BetMGM Casino in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. It is also live on Borgata Online in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The game was developed by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences with Blueprint Gaming and is distributed in North America by White Hat Studios through its House of Brands portfolio. That portfolio supplies Blueprint and other studios’ titles to regulated U.S. iGaming markets.
The U.S. release follows the slot’s Canadian rollout at BetMGM Casino in Ontario in April and Alberta in mid-July. The game became one of BetMGM Casino’s top-performing titles in Alberta after that province’s regulated iGaming launch, while Eilers & Krejcik Gaming ranked it fifth among Canada’s new online casino-game launches.
The six-reel game has 4,096 ways to win and takes its setting and storylines from HBO’s Game of Thrones. Its persistent progression system carries across sessions, as players unlock Money Collect features associated with the Stark, Lannister, Baratheon and Targaryen houses on a route towards the Iron Throne.
Landing at least three Bonus symbols triggers 10 Iron Throne Spins. The title also uses Dragon Fire Modifiers and fixed jackpots ranging from 20 times to 2,500 times the stake; Blueprint Gaming lists a maximum win of 17,000 times.
BetMGM has planned bonus spins, sweepstakes, daily prizes and leaderboard competitions to support the debut. Borgata Online had planned to award up to 10 million Bonus Spins during September.
A $25,000 BetMGM leaderboard competition is scheduled to run from Oct. 5 through Oct. 11.
