Caesars Entertainment has announced an agreement with the Mannings, creating a first-of-its kind partnership between a sportsbook and an iconic sports family – with the Mannings arguably known as the nation’s “First Family of Football.”
Archie Manning and his sons, Cooper, Eli and Peyton, will be featured in advertising for Caesars Sportsbook and will make live event appearances to promote the sportsbook. The Mannings will also be incorporated into a variety of fan engagement opportunities through the company’s Caesars Rewards program.
The Mannings will also serve as ambassadors for Caesars’ focus on responsible gaming by highlighting the resources that Caesars Sportsbook offers to help bettors stay in control. Those resources include self-imposed time limits, deposit limits and spending limits.
The signing of the Mannings is great timing for Caesars. They were one of nine operators selected for a mobile sports betting license in New York on Monday and opened commercial sportsbooks at the Harrah’s New Orleans and Horseshoe Bossier City casinos in Louisiana on October 31. Archie Manning played for the NFL’s New Orleans Saints for 10 full seasons, while Eli Manning played for the New York Giants for 16 seasons.

The Manning story
The Manning family is one of the biggest dynasties in US sports history and has been one of the most dominant in NFL history. Three members of the Manning family – Archie, Eli and Peyton – were under center as the starting quarterback in 35 of the NFL’s 102 seasons. The three men combined for 48 seasons, 653 games, four Super Bowl championships, 20 Pro Bowls, 152,874 passing yards and 1,030 passing touchdowns.
Archie is the second-leading passer in Saints history with 21,734 yards. Meanwhile, Peyton is the all-time leading passer in Indianapolis Colts history with 54,828 yards, while Eli is the all-time leading passer in Giants history with 57,023 yards.
Peyton won two Super Bowl titles, one with the Colts and one with the Denver Broncos. He was named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) five times, two more than any other player in league history, and was MVP for Super Bowl XLI. Eli also won two Super Bowls with the Giants and was named Super Bowl MVP in both contests. Both brothers are also recipients of the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, the league’s most prestigious honor, which recognizes a player for his excellence on and off the field. Caesars is also committed to supporting the Mannings’ many charitable initiatives. They are the only brothers to win the award.
Cooper Manning has co-hosted a weekly podcast on FS1 called “Soup with Coop” since April. The podcast is sponsored by FanDuel Sportsbook, a Caesars rival. He has also hosted The Manning Hour on Fox Sports, which, despite the name, are two-minute shorts with NFL players. He has also worked on FOX NFL Kickoff.
Caesars added that the Manning family is lauded in New Orleans “as national ambassadors and praised locally for their charitable and civic involvement.” The company added that the new sportsbook partnership builds upon their existing relationship with the family: Caesars operates the Mannings Sports Bar & Grill out of Harrah’s New Orleans.
