Yggdrasil has entered the US online-casino market through Caesars Entertainment, with its titles now live in New Jersey and Michigan.
According to Next.io, the rollout spans Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino and Horseshoe Online Casino. The integration was made possible through Aristocrat Interactive, and the launch begins with Valley of the Gods.
That game first launched in 2017. Yggdrasil describes Valley of the Gods as a 5×5 slot inspired by Ancient Egypt, with multipliers, respins, extra lives and hidden treasure blocks.
Aurora Armaro, Yggdrasil’s head of Region LATAM & USA, called the launch of the company’s first game in the United States a major milestone. She said the partnership was the first of many opportunities to bring premium content to players across North America.
Ricardo Cornejo Rivas, vice president of online gaming at Caesars Digital, said the deal reinforces Caesars’ commitment to fresh and entertaining gaming experiences across its online casino platforms. He said the company was proud to introduce Yggdrasil’s content to players in Michigan and New Jersey.
GamingAmerica previously reported that Yggdrasil had partnered with Aristocrat Interactive for North America, with exclusive rights to supply Yggdrasil content in the US and Ontario. It said games were expected to be integrated through Aristocrat Interactive’s Ignite platform and Content & Aggregation division, with additional titles including Valley of the Dead OnlyWins, Aphrodite Goes Wild Rushing Wilds and 3 Gladiators vs Caesar.
FishDuck, citing SBC Americas, described the Caesars arrangement as an exclusive multi-state content distribution deal. It said Michigan and New Jersey are among the most mature regulated iGaming markets in the US, and that future expansion beyond the two states would likely depend on licensing approval and market performance.
