Sports fans have never experienced anything like the MaximBet LIVE parties, athlete & celebrity meet-and-greets, & in-person entertainment that MaximBet will bring to these two passionate sports states. Less than one year after its initial launch in Colorado, emerging online sports betting and casino brand MaximBet is further advancing its expansion plans in the regulated US markets. This month, the company announced plans to bring its products to Iowa and Indiana.

While MaximBet has not specified a date for either launch, the brand hinted that this is just the start of further efforts across the country. MaximBet is expecting to go live in a handful of additional regulated US states (and Canada) in 2022.

“Indiana and Iowa represent a prime opportunity for MaximBet to bring its world-class sportsbook and unparalleled real-life experiences to two of the most passionate sports markets in the country,” said MaximBet CEO Daniel Graetzer.

“Sports betting has been a boon for both states since 2019, but sports fans have never experienced anything like the MaximBet LIVE parties, athlete and celebrity meet-and-greets, and in-person entertainment that MaximBet will bring to these two passionate sports states. We can’t wait to show our new users in Indiana and Iowa what we have in store.”

The brand is a rather new entrant to the regulated US markets and emerged as a partnership between Malta-based holding company Carousel Group and multimedia company Maxim. The latter publishes the international men’s magazine bearing the same name.

MaximBet Sportsbook first launched in Colorado back in September 2021. It was the result of the successful rebranding of SportsBetting.com, which Carousel brought online one year earlier. The new brand became the 25th live mobile sportsbook in the rapidly expanding state.

The expansion plans are supported by the recently confirmed multi-year partnership with global sports betting provider Kambi Group. MaximBet is also set to launch an online casino platform in cooperation with White Hat Gaming.

The upcoming launch in Iowa and Indiana also follows an existing partnership with Caesars Entertainment, through which MaximBet had previously gained access to the online casino gaming market in Pennsylvania. The operator has also announced plans to launch in Ohio, but no specifics have yet been released. Included in the multi-state deal with Caesars was the launch of an online sportsbook in Indiana, Iowa, and New Jersey.

It now appears that the official regulatory approval in the Hawkeye State and the Hoosier State is just a formality. The brand is also expected to go live in even more states in 2022, including New York, which has raised the bar significantly for online sports betting in regulated US markets.

Considering which industry giants the newcomer is up against, MaximBet has found a unique way to claim a portion of the market share in the states they have entered so far. They will be using its MaximBet LIVE division to host “kickoff parties in each state featuring entertainers, celebrities, prizes and rewards for current and new customers.”

According to the press release, MaximBet just used this strategy during the Super Bowl LVI weekend in Los Angeles. Among the artists that appeared at its star-studded party were The Chainsmokers, Lil Baby, Gunna, and more. Which celebrities they have in mind for the newest two states remains unknown for now but they will certainly raise the bar once more when it comes to extraordinary customer experiences.
