Octoplay has received interim authorisation from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, permitting the games supplier to provide its titles to licensed operators in the state. Pennsylvania is the company’s third authorised US market, after New Jersey and Michigan, and its fifth in North America when Ontario and Alberta are included.
The approval takes Octoplay to three US states in less than 18 months. Its American debut came in New Jersey with BetMGM in June 2025, followed by a Michigan launch in December with BetMGM, FanDuel and Rush Street Interactive.
Martina Borg Stevens, Octoplay’s chief legal officer, said Pennsylvania had “one of the highest bars in the United States” for regulation. She said the authorisation placed the company’s content in three of the country’s largest regulated states and provided a platform for further North American growth.
The Pennsylvania board provides supplier licensing applications covering, among other areas, interactive gaming products, services and associated equipment.
The move follows Octoplay’s recent Alberta entry, where it went live with seven tier-one operators on the market’s opening day. BetMGM, FanDuel and DraftKings were among those partners. The Alberta launch was Octoplay’s largest coordinated market entry to date and followed a conditional provincial licence secured in June 2025.
Octoplay has described North America as a focus market. Alongside its five North American markets, it is approved to operate across a wider group of regulated jurisdictions in Europe and Brazil. It ranked first in Eilers & Krejcik Gaming’s New Overall Top Supplier US index for four consecutive months from April through July.
