September 01, 2026

U.S. online casino revenue climbed back above $1 billion in July, reaching just over $1.02 billion across the seven legal iGaming states. The monthly total was up 2% from June’s $996.5 million and 15.7% from July 2025’s $877.9 million, and every state in the group posted at least a 12% year-over-year increase.

According to Sports Betting Dime, the July result fit a pattern that has held through much of 2026, with the market clearing $1 billion in five of the first seven months. As reported in June, the sector had also crossed the $1 billion line in May, the fifth time in six months. The outlet said its table tracks gross gaming revenue before promotional spend is removed, while some states publish adjusted gross revenue instead. Through July, the industry had generated $7.05 billion, and December was the first month in which U.S. online casinos passed $1 billion.

New Jersey remained the largest single-state market. The Division of Gaming Enforcement said internet gaming win reached $276.9 million in July, edging the prior record of $276.3 million set in May and rising 12.0% from July 2025. The state has now topped $270 million in four of the last five months. Year to date, New Jersey internet gaming win stood at $1.87 billion, up 14.5% from the same period a year earlier.

Delaware also set a monthly record, finishing July at $16.23 million. That was just under $36,000 above its previous high of $16.20 million, reached in March.

Pennsylvania regained the monthly lead from Michigan by more than $9 million after being much closer in June, when Michigan finished less than $2 million behind. Through seven months, Pennsylvania had $2.20 billion in gross iGaming revenue, about $90 million more than Michigan’s $2.11 billion.
