PrizePicks has become the WNBA’s Official Daily Fantasy Partner under a multi-year agreement announced Sept. 15. The deal is the daily fantasy operator’s first partnership with a professional women’s sports league.
The partnership permits PrizePicks to use WNBA League, Team and Event marks, plus league logos and imagery, in its daily fantasy and free-to-play products. Those rights cover the company’s digital platforms, including its app and website.
PrizePicks said the agreement builds on its multi-year NBA partnership, announced earlier this year, which also gave the operator rights to use league, team and event marks across its products. Sportcal reported at the time that PrizePicks claimed availability in 45 states and described itself as North America’s largest daily fantasy sports operator.
Mike Ybarra, PrizePicks’ chief executive, said the WNBA agreement reflected the company’s effort to expand its basketball footprint and the momentum it sees in the sport. He said the company aimed to make PrizePicks “the best place to engage with basketball responsibly at every level.”
Colie Edison, the WNBA’s chief growth officer, said fans had shown “tremendous demand” for new, interactive ways to experience the game. She said the partnership was intended to create additional ways for fans to connect with WNBA players and teams, while maintaining a responsible approach to fan engagement.
The agreement arrives during what the WNBA describes as its historic 30th season. The league also said it reached a transformational collective bargaining agreement in March, beginning a chapter centred on player experience, investment and the global growth of women’s basketball.
PrizePicks said it remains committed to compliance, integrity and responsible gaming as it expands nationally. The company said it received iCAP accreditation from the National Council on Problem Gambling in 2025 and was the first and only fantasy sports operator to receive that certification.
