NAPT Is Coming Back to Las Vegas

Last year, the entire poker world was thrilled to hear about the return of NAPT, a tour that was canceled more than a decade ago.

Some feared it could be a one-and-done type of a situation, but PokerStars has now confirmed that the event is coming back to Resorts World Las Vegas in November, along with a couple of regional tour events preceding it.

NAPT Las Vegas will be played during the first half of November and will kick-off with a $550 Mystery Bounty event between November 1 and 4, which will likely attract thousands of entrants looking to spike those big bounties.

The NAPT Main Event itself will play out between November 5 and 10 and have a price tag of $5,300, while a couple of High Rollers with buyins of $10k and $25k will be thrown for all the big players coming to Vegas to enjoy the NAPT.

The rest of us will get a chance to compete in the $550 NAPT Cup from November 8 to 10, giving everyone plenty of reason to show up for the NAPT and take a shot at glory.

Win Your Gold Pass at PokerStars

The $5,300 buyin for the NAPT Main Event is quite high and it is only natural that many players who would love to play the event may struggle to put together this kind of money for a single tournament entry.

Fortunately, PokerStars is offering plenty of opportunities to win a Gold Pass and play the NAPT Main Event for fraction of the cost, while also traveling to Las Vegas and staying there for free.

Each one of more than 100 Gold Passes that can be won includes:

  • 5,300 NAPT Main Event buyin
  • 2,900 for accommodations
  • 1,800 for travel expenses and costs

A great number of Gold Passes will be given away by PokerStars through “Access NAPT,” a promotion that will encompass numerous live and online qualifiers to the NAPT over the coming months.

For those looking to win from the lowest of stakes, Path to NAPT will be available as part of PokerStars Power Path, giving players a chance to win their Gold Passes from as little as $0.50.

Players who win a Silver Pass through PokerStars Power Path will also have a chance to compete in NAPT Regional events in Maryland and Pennsylvania, as well as bi-weekly $1k NAPT Satellites online.

Make sure to join PokerStars as soon as possible to start your hunt for your Gold Pass and a ticket to Las Vegas, or head on over to Maryland Live! from July 31 — August 4, or Philly Live! from August 22 — September 8 for a chance to win one of the many live satellites to the Main Event or win the Regionals and play on your own dime.
