WSOP Online has added a late-August promotion called Summer Gift Drop that hands out random tournament tickets and BLAST tickets to cash-game players at the tables. The offer runs from Aug. 23 through Aug. 30 and is limited to cash-game play.
The promotion is open to players in New Jersey, Michigan, Nevada and Pennsylvania, which share liquidity. To qualify, players must have a WSOP Online account and play cash games during the promotional window. Non-cash formats, including MTTs, SNGs, BLAST, SNAP and other formats, do not qualify.
Pokerfuse reported that WSOP Online was keeping the exact mechanics under wraps while the promotion runs. It framed Summer Gift Drop as one more chance to pick up extra value in the final week of August after the WSOP Online Circuit series, a Sunday Sale and the exclusive $100,000 Multi-Flight Event.
The operator is also using the promotion to support its cash tables. Pokerfuse said the giveaway is designed to boost cash-game action and reward side-game players during a period when attention has largely been on tournament offerings.
F5 Poker said new players can layer WSOP’s welcome bonus on top of Summer Gift Drop. That bonus requires a minimum first deposit of $10, and includes a full deposit match up to $1,000 plus up to $100 in extra free play.
On a $1,000 first deposit, the offer would therefore deliver $1,100 in extra value before the player has played a hand. Existing players, meanwhile, no longer have August reload bonuses available, although F5 Poker said those offers are expected to return soon.
